Duties
- Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering.
- Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding
- Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Install automotive parts such as , bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Apply fabrication repair techniques involving sheet metal work and custom fabrication to restore damaged vehicle sections.
- Conduct auto restoration projects by utilizing automotive welding equipment and fabrication skills to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to life.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto body repairs and ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or similar setting with a strong understanding of auto body repair processes.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques essential for structural fixes.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, parts installation, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools,and other automotive repair tools.
- Ability to perform automotive cosmetic repairs including, detailing
- Experience with auto estimating software and auto glass installation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of automotive parts installation procedures and working knowledge of heavy lifting techniques for vehicle components.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
