Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Loan Assistant in Whitewright, TX. The Loan Assistant performs a variety of duties supporting the Branch President in connection with Commerical, Real Estate, Agriculture and Consumer loans. Provides front-line contact with current and potential commercial loan customers. Assist with gathering information to complete loan applications and related documents necessary for loan closings, processing draws and renewals and clearing exceptions. Also responsible for coordinating the Banks participation in community events.
Qualifications
- Two plus years of banking or financial services experience
- Previous loan assistance experience preferred
- Excellent technology skills (Abrigo Sageworks experience preferred)
- Loan Servicing, Loan Documents, and Loan Closings skills
- Customer Service excellence
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of title policy, banking regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team
- Dependable, professional, proactive and courteous
