What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Strategist position at Legally Mine?
What you'll do:
Meet with new and existing members to gather and organize information about their business entities and goals.
Evaluate members' profiles to identify and implement effective, compliant tax-reduction strategies.
Educate members on strategy options (e.g., entity selection, elections, retirement plans) and how to apply them in practice.
Lead annual strategy reviews to update recommendations as laws and member circumstances change.
Create and deliver clear training/materials that help members successfully use recommended strategies.
Partner with internal teams (accounting, onboarding, member success) to ensure resources align with member needs and business goals.
What we're looking for:
2 years of experience in tax and/or accounting (public firm or in-house)
Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills; comfortable speaking with business owners, CEOs/CFOs, and other decision-makers.
Strong organization and follow-through.; able to manage multiple member engagements.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
(Nice to have) EA or CPA, or progress toward credential; working knowledge of small-business planning (S-Corps, partnerships, elections, retirement, reasonable comp).

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
