Transactional Paralegal / Contracts Specialist (Contract)
Location: Onsite – Dallas, TX
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: 6 months (June 1, 2026 – December 1, 2026)
Compensation: $65–$80/hour
Overview
A leading health technology and life sciences company is seeking a Transactional Paralegal / Contracts Specialist to support its sourcing and procurement team.
This is a high-volume, operations-focused role where you will manage inbound contracting workflows for marketing, events, and professional services agreements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance speed, accuracy, and risk to support business execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume pipeline of inbound contracts, including marketing, events, consulting, and vendor agreements
- Draft and review contract-related documents such as Statements of Work (SOWs), order forms, renewals, and amendments
- Utilize procurement and contract management systems (e.g., Coupa) to manage end-to-end workflows
- Ensure contract data is accurate, complete, and compliant within internal systems
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and legal to move contracts efficiently through approval processes
- Review standard terms and conditions, identifying risk while maintaining a practical, business-oriented approach
- Prioritize and manage a dynamic contract queue based on deadlines, business needs, and fiscal timelines
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience as a transactional paralegal, contract administrator, or contracts specialist
- Experience handling high-volume, inbound contracting workflows in a corporate or procurement environment
- Strong understanding of commercial contract terms, including payment terms, deliverables, termination provisions, and governing law
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and approval processes in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Coupa or similar procurement and CLM systems
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Google Workspace
- Background supporting procurement, sourcing, or legal operations teams
