ANIMAL CLINIC PRACTICE MANAGER BASICS:

As our Animal Clinic Practice Manager, you'll work full-time, spending most of your hours directly on the clinic floor, engaged with both patients and staff. Shifts will align with the clinic's operational hours, ensuring you're present during peak times to support your team and maintain smooth operations.
YOUR ROLE AS AN ANIMAL CLINIC PRACTICE MANAGER:
You will start your day by joining the veterinary team on the floor, leading by example and setting a positive tone for the day. Each day, you'll work hands-on with patients, assist with treatments and appointments, and foster a collaborative atmosphere. You will monitor workflow, offer support to your colleagues, and help maintain efficiency during busy periods. When stepping away from the clinical side, you will handle key administrative duties including payroll, accounts payable, scheduling, and communication with vendors and staff. Throughout it all, you will be present, engaged, and ready to address operational issues as they arise, ensuring both the team and the hospital run smoothly.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a veterinary practice or animal care setting
- Ability to multi-task and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Genuine passion for animals and a commitment to outstanding patient care
Preferred:
- Experience with payroll, scheduling, or basic financial administration
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential
