What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director position at LEGACY TREATMENT SERVICES GROUP?
Assists the Division Director with overall supervision of the program to include scheduling covering shifts as needed, representing the program in the community as requested, planning developing, and evaluating the effectiveness of the program. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for overall management of the program, including day-to-day operations. Tracks treatment outcomes. Will carry a caseload, if required. Provides supervision to staff. Maintains contact with referring agencies and related people, and with community resources used for referrals. Follows all PI, HR, budget, contact requirements pursuant to the daily operations related to program functioning. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the Consumer’s status in order to identify each Consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the Consumer group.
The Involuntary Outpatient Commitment (IOC) program offers a new option for individuals who aren't imminently dangerous enough for commitment to an inpatient program, but who struggle with remaining in treatment and are likely to become dangerous without that treatment. IOC coordinates community services and supports that increase the likelihood of treatment adherence. IOC services are a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure that IOC consumers are properly assessed, linked to treatment and services and emotionally supported.
Hours
Position is full time, Monday – Friday. Hours include flexibility based upon program need.

Education/Experience:
Master’s preferred; Bachelor’s acceptable with 1 year of experience in the mental health field. LAC/LSW preferred.
