What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insulation Project Leader position at Legacy Thermal Solutions?
Legacy Thermal Solutions is looking for a goal-oriented, driven insulation project leader who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate does not shy away from physical work, contributes to meeting project deadlines, and operates in accordance with company, state, and federal safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Insulation Project Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Organization of project materials, job site paperwork, and equipment.
- Conduct daily safety meetings, equipment inspections, and job-site walk-downs.
- Tracking of material and equipment inventory. Ordering material from the purchasing manager.
- Assisting with project take-off and estimates while on-site.
- Organizing crews to maximize efficiency and pace of the project to meet deadlines.
- Fabricate blankets, banding, gores, and cut-outs to feed installers.
- Install insulation, insulation blankets, and jacketing.
- Perform QA inspections as tasks are completed.
- Perform final QA walk-downs with Legacy Operations Managers.
- Assist in the onboarding of field team insulators and helpers.
- Ensure all team members are adhering to Legacy, state, federal, and customer site rules and requirements.
- Oversee that job sites are kept clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of performing industrial insulation craft.
- 2 years in a foreman/ site supervisor position.
- 2-3 years of Scaffold knowledge and experience.
- Experienced in the operation of MEWP lifts and forklifts
- Fluent in English. Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Ability to manage and maintain the site schedule to meet project milestone deadlines.
- Valid driver's license that passes MVR.
