Overview
Join Atlanta’s Best Insulation, a growing, family-owned company with a strong reputation in the Atlanta market. We specialize in residential and new construction insulation and are looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to run pre-qualified, in-home appointments.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys face-to-face selling, wants consistent leads (no cold calling), and is looking to build a solid income in a high-demand industry.
What You’ll Do
- Drive to and inspect customer attics and homes based on a pre-set appointment schedule
- Create, share and close estimates with customers
- Schedule jobs (on occasion)
- Create work orders with detailed descriptions for installation team
What Success Looks Like:
- Run 2–4 appointments per day (warm leads)
- Close 45–55% of estimates
- Generate $65k in monthly sales
You will need to be a driven, detail oriented individual, willing to learn, and drive sales without being pushy. No cold calling, all prescheduled appointments.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Attend in-person appointments with leads provided
- Conduct site visits to evaluate insulation needs and prepare accurate estimates
- Present insulation options and solutions with confidence and clarity
- Prepare proposals and close deals in a timely and professional manner
- Follow up on leads, pipeline prospects, and past quotes
- Occasionally generate referrals and self-generated leads (not required, but encouraged)
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records, job notes, and customer interactions
- Schedule jobs and work with operations plus installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
- Occasionally answer incoming calls and emails
- Prepare detailed work orders for installation team to ensure customer expectations are met for jobs
- Be willing to visit job sites on occasion if necessary and / or handle any customers calls / complaints regarding service delivery
- Contribute to creating a positive work environment, offer suggestions for improvements and contribute toward company growth
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED - required
- Experience doing in-person sales / direct sales - desired
- Experience in insulation or construction industry - desired
- Experience in home services - desired
- Experience with customer service - desired
- Computer / tech savvy
- Drivers license
- Willing to submit to background check and clean record
- Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physical:
- Potential prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
- Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.

- Expected earnings: $50,000–$75,000 in year one
- Top performers: $80,000–$90,000
