Mechanical Assembler

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Mechanical Assembler role in Woodburn, OR. Key Responsibilities:
· Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools according to blueprints and work instructions.
· Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
· Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of parts to ensure proper functionality and quality standards.
· Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
· Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and workstations for efficient workflow.
· Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly or fitment issues.
· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
· Accurately document assembly processes, parts usage, and production data.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
· Report any material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or prior assembly experience preferred.
· 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
· Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
· Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
