What to expect as a Warehouse Associate - Loose Freight Handler:
- Process customer orders by manually breaking down pallets, stacking product onto pallets, and transporting completed pallets with the use of a pallet jack or forklift.
- Confirm orders contain the correct number of products for shipment.
- Review and verify label information by comparing the label on the product to its contents and placing the label in the appropriately area on the product.
- Inspect inbound and outbound customer orders for damages.
- This is a physically demanding job that will require you to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of a 10- or 12-hour shift.

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring for a Warehouse Associate - Loose Freight Handler to support our distribution center in Oswego, IL. As a Warehouse Associate - Loose Freight Handler, you will work with a voice based sorting system and pallet jack to place customer orders on a pallet in the order that the voices system asks. Once the pallet is created, you will wrap the pallet to get it ready to load onto the trailer.
