Job Overview
Legacy Supply Chain is hiring Forklift Operators to support our distribution center located in Mt. Juliet, TN. As a Forklift Operator, you will be utilizing a Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker to load, unload, pick, and replenish product from trucks, containers, or bulk locations within the warehouse. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match and a monthly bonus opportunity!
Schedule and Compensation
- 1st Shift: Monday through Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Starting pay rate $20.00 per hour.
- 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday – 11:30am to 8:00pm
- Starting pay rate $20.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential.
Job Details
What to expect as a Forklift Operator:
- Operate a Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker to load, unload, pick, and replenish product from trucks, containers, or bulk locations within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Willingness to be cross trained in different departments.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One-year of Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to work at various heights safely, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
- Ability to operate an electronic handheld scanner and tablet
- Must be punctual with a demonstrated attendance record
- Flexible to work overtime; including weekends
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
