Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
York, SC
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production operations and facility maintenance. This position focuses on preventive and emergency repairs to keep equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, and general maintenance repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, replace parts, and make adjustments
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Operate hand/power tools and material handling equipment (forklift certification required)
- Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
- Industrial or production maintenance experience
- Electrical systems knowledge (PLC or 460/3/60 experience is a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active industrial setting
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Schedule:
Full-time, 1st Shift ( 40 hours with overtime as needed)
