What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Foreman/Manager position at Legacy Sign Group?
Job Summary
Individuals will work closely with multiple members of the Legacy Sign Group team, promoting the capabilities of Legacy Sign Group’s products, providing purchasing, management, costing & technical services and scheduling. Shop Foreman / Manager are some of the first line individuals involved on a project and responsible for bringing together multiple pieces to the puzzle to achieve a successful project. Individuals are expected to also work closely and cooperatively with the team to achieve the maximum results for growth and promotion of yourself and Legacy Sign Group. We are passing along “not just a sign, but a legacy”.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and implement shop procedures for production/installation/deliveries
- Research and process purchasing opportunities, materials, vendor selections, etc
- Plan, develop and implement safety plans/meetings.
- Plan, develop and implement reviews of shop individuals
- Learn, utilize and train Squarecoil project tracking software
- Oversee/create production schedules
- Manage “bottleneck” areas in a professional and positive manner
- Advertise, promote, interview and train individuals in shop roles that may be necessary
- Occasional assist with running material/tools to jobsites
- Assist with creation and follow through of processes.
- Relentless follow throughs
- Cooperate and adhere to other Legacy Sign Group’s department requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Maintain working knowledge in computer programs necessary for job function
- Build and harness vendor relationships
- Work closely with other members of the Legacy Sign Group team to promote product offerings, be involved in discussions and help to alleviate concerns from experience.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, working vehicle, insurance and registrations at-all-times
- Assist with seeing projects through beginning to end (Survey, Estimating, Contracts, Permitting, Release, Install and Follow-ups)
- Continuously strive to learn materials and methods that will aid in your/our success.
- Be open to employee reviews/look-ins. Initial review will be at 6 months from date of employment.

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
