Legendary Home Services is seeking a detail-driven HR & Payroll Specialist to manage critical day-to-day human resources and payroll operations for a growing team of 200 employees. This position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, supporting recruiting efforts, and managing workers’ compensation claims.

HR & Payroll Specialist Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Management: Process weekly payroll for 200 employees, ensuring accuracy with wages, deductions, commissions, and reimbursements.
- Onboarding Coordination: Manage all first-day setup steps for new hires, including I-9 verification, HRIS setup, benefits enrollment, and orientation communication.
- Recruiting Support: Post openings, review applications, schedule interviews, and assist with offer letters and pre-employment screenings.
- Offboarding: Coordinate termination processes including final pay, benefits termination, and exit documentation.
- Workers’ Compensation: File, track, and manage workers’ compensation claims; communicate with employees, managers, and insurance representatives.
- HR Administration: Maintain employee records in UKG and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Reporting & Compliance: Generate routine reports on headcount, payroll, and compliance documentation as needed.
HR & Payroll Specialist Qualifications
- 2 years of HR or payroll experience (multi-state or high-volume preferred).
- Working knowledge of employment law, payroll processing, and workers’ compensation procedures.
- Experience using an HRIS/payroll system (UKG strongly preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
