Accounts Payable Manager — Hybrid (2 Days/Week in Arlington, VA)$90K-$105K Bonus | Excellent Benefits | Mission-Driven Organization A mission-focused, nationally recognized organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and elevate its AP function. The team is sharp, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about the impact their work enables.What You'll Do:Lead, coach, and develop a team of AP Specialists; drive accuracy, accountability, and operational excellenceOwn the AP process end-to-end: invoice review, payment cycles, expense auditing, and prepaid expense managementPartner cross-functionally — especially with Finance, Marketing, and business leaders — to resolve issues and ensure seamless workflowsSupport system upgrades, process improvements, and Workday release testingAssist with audits, create prepaid schedules, and prepare annual 1099-MISC formsEnsure strong internal controls, compliance, and high-quality financial dataWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business8-10 years of AP experience (Procure-to-Pay or high-volume environments preferred)5 years of direct management experienceStrong understanding of accounting principles (prepaids, accruals, expense analysis)Experience with Workday and Coupa preferred, or similar cloud-based AP systemsExcellent communication skills, people leadership, and organizational disciplineAdditional Details:Hybrid: 2 days/week in Arlington HQ, remaining days remoteCandidates in the Washington-Baltimore metro area strongly preferredCompensation: $90K-$105K base bonusOutstanding culture, great mission, and extremely competitive benefits If you're an AP leader who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, and mission-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.
