What You'll Do as a Payroll Administrator
As our Payroll Administrator, you will oversee full-cycle bi-weekly payroll processing for approximately 500 employees across multiple states and entities. You'll ensure payroll accuracy while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. This role involves handling payroll data management, compensation updates, payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, and employee payroll support.
You will also assist with benefits reconciliation and leave administration while supporting payroll system improvements, audit readiness, and year-end payroll processes such as W-2 preparation and tax reporting. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Payroll Administrator Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience required
- High-volume, multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of general HR and benefits knowledge
- Strong ADP Workforce Now experience
- Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
