What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at Legacy Residential Group?
Legacy Residential is currently seeking a full-time groundskeeper for a multi-family apartment community in North Miami, FL 33179. The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining landscaping around the community, buildings, and amenities as well as routine maintenance of the landscaping equipment. This team member maintains community curb appeal and performs other routine maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the daily upkeep of the property, buildings, and grounds
- Responsible for performing maintenance and landscaping duties as assigned
- May perform other duties using hand tools and power equipment as needed
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and provide outstanding customer service
- Must be able to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours.
- Must be able to operate necessary small machinery (i.e. pressure cleaner, leaf blower, etc.)
- Must possess the ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Work mostly outdoors
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to work independently
- Bilingual is a plus
