The #1 Priority of this position is…
To maintain the lawns and gardens of the Palace in a neat, well-trimmed and attractive fashion as well as maintain both indoor and outside plants according to season availability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and sweep all outside walkways, driveways and patio areas.
- Empty all outside trash containers.
- Cut and trim grass, hedges, trees and plants as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Must know how to operate machinery necessary for job duties to be carried out; may include, but not limited to lawnmowers, weed-whackers and sharp tools for trimming and cutting.
- Must possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions in the English language. Spanish preferred.
The Ideal Candidate
- Responsible, outgoing, punctual, quick on the feet and resourceful.
- Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and in emergency situations.
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
