Legacy Oaks of Sacramento Assisted Living and Memory Care, located in Sacramento, CA is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable individual to serve in a dual role as a Life Enrichment Assistant & Transportation Driver. This position supports resident engagement through meaningful activities while also providing safe and dependable transportation for appointments and outings.

Responsibilities of the Life Enrichment Assistant & Transportation Duties
- Assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning, coordinating and conducting resident activities.
- Provide engaging activity programming that enhances residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Tailor activities to meet residents' individual needs, preferences, and abilities.
- Assist in creating monthly activity calendars and newsletters.
- Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and privacy.
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments and community outings.
- Assist residents when entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures during transport.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the community vehicle.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
- Complete all required state training upon hire and annually.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall resident care and engagement.
Required Experience
- Possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for word processing.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
- Valid driver's license (CDL if required) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum one (1) year of driving or transportation experience preferred.
- State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement
- LIC 503 Health Screening Report
- Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
