Duties
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC/R systems to ensure peak performance
- Conduct repairs on equipment such as appliances, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical systems using appropriate tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately
- Service property maintenance needs related to HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and general mechanical systems in commercial or residential settings
- Operate a vehicle safely while transporting tools, parts, or equipment to job sites
- Repair ammonia refrigeration systems and perform field service tasks with precision and safety awareness
