Grounds

Legacy is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Grounds employee to support a 248-unit community in Lansing, MI. This role plays a key part in maintaining the property’s curb appeal and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. As a Grounds employee, you will be responsible for the upkeep of all exterior areas of the property, including landscaping, cleanliness, and light maintenance. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is proactive, and enjoys working outdoors in a team-oriented environment. This position requires working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, as well as occasional weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• One (1) or more years of grounds maintenance experience in a multi-family setting preferred 
• Experience with snow plowing preferred 
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
• Strong attention to detail and reliability 
• Customer-service mindset with positive communication skills 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
