STAFF ACCOUNTANT - Scottsbluff, NE

Legacy Coop is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team at the corporate office in Scottsbluff, NE. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with numbers, problem-solving, and contributing to the financial success of a growing organization. A PART-TIME position will be considered for the right candidate. This position is IN-PERSON so the ideal candidate would live in or near Scottsbluff, NE.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

~Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.

~Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

~Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.

~Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

~ Support accounts payable/receivable functions.

~ Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.

~ Collaborate with auditors and provide supporting documentation as needed.

~ Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounting department.

Qualifications

~Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

~Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with experience will be considered

~Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, etc)

~Strong Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

~Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
