What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Associate position at Legacy?
We’re Hiring: Client Service Associate
Legacy Investment Planning is growing, and we’re looking for a Client Service Associate to join our in-person Operations Team.
This is a full-time role for someone who is steady, detail-oriented, warm with clients, and ready to take ownership of the client experience.
At Legacy, we believe financial planning should address the whole picture — business strategy, generational wealth, life transitions, and long-term wellness — not just portfolio performance. As we scale intentionally, we’re looking for someone who wants more than a job. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with a team that genuinely cares about the people we serve.
About the Role
The Client Service Associate is the operational heartbeat of the client experience.
You’ll help ensure every account opening, transfer, distribution, client request, follow-up, and proactive touchpoint is handled accurately, warmly, and on time.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing things right the first time, communicates clearly, and can stay calm and organized even when the day gets busy.
What You’ll Own
You’ll be responsible for:
• Processing account openings, distributions, transfers, and maintenance requests accurately and on time
• Maintaining 24-hour responsiveness on client emails, calls, and service requests
• Serving as a first point of contact for client needs
• Managing proactive client touchpoints such as birthdays, life events, and planning check-ins
• Keeping Wealthbox CRM data clean, current, and compliance-ready
• Supporting the Operations team on financial planning workflows, insurance tracking, and cross-functional execution
Who You Are
You are someone who:
• Brings steadiness to busy days
• Cares about clients genuinely, not performatively
• Takes accuracy personally
• Follows through without needing to be chased
• Communicates with warmth and professionalism
• Is comfortable managing a high volume of details
• Wants to grow into more ownership over time
This is not a stepping-stone role. It is a place for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, a clear growth path, and the opportunity to build something lasting.
Experience We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates may have experience in client service, financial operations, wealth management, banking, insurance, professional services, or operations roles where accuracy and relationships both mattered.
Series 7/66 is not required, but it is a plus. Wealthbox or similar CRM experience is also helpful.
Compensation
Starting base: $60,000–$72,000 depending on experience
Type: Full-time, in-person
Team: Operations
Reports to: Operations Lead
We offer structured milestone-based growth tied to service excellence, accuracy, and operational ownership.
