Duties
- Lead the overall management of the assisted living community, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional resident experiences
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans tailored to residents' needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care
- Supervise staff members across various departments, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team
- Oversee medication administration processes in compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Manage budgets effectively, including financial planning, resource allocation, and cost control measures
- Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal assisted living standards and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals such as nurses and social workers to deliver comprehensive resident care
- Promote a positive community environment that encourages social engagement and enhances residents' well-being
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional health to adapt care strategies accordingly
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living or long-term care management, ideally within nursing homes or retirement communities
- Strong background in nursing or healthcare management with knowledge of medication administration and resident safety protocols
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within group homes or home & community care settings
- Familiarity with dementia care practices, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care programming
- Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational expenses
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs
- Exceptional leadership skills combined with a passion for senior care and working with people with developmental disabilities or complex health conditions
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to assisted living facilities and long-term care operations
Optional Incentives
Occupancy Bonus: $ per month per filled bed over 4 beds
Compliance Bonus: $1,000 annually for 0 deficiencies on annual inspection
Pay: $42, $60,000.00 per year
