Job Description: Team member plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of an assisted living facility, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support. This position requires a compassionate leader who is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. The Administrator will manage staff, maintain compliance with regulations, and foster a positive environment for both residents and employees.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident rights and enhance care quality.
- Lead and manage a team of caregivers, nurses, and support staff to ensure effective service delivery.
- Conduct assessments of residents' needs and coordinate appropriate care plans, including dementia care.
- Foster relationships with residents, families, and community partners to promote engagement and satisfaction.
- Monitor staff performance and provide training opportunities to enhance skills in senior care and developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staffing, and facility operations.
- Address any concerns or complaints from residents or families promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living administration or a related field such as nursing or social work.
- Strong knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care and resident rights.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with regulations governing assisted living facilities is preferred.
