Inside Sales Representative - Pole Barn Division

Position Summary

Legacy Building Supply is a growing, customer-focused building materials supplier specializing in high-quality post-frame (pole barn) building packages. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Pole Barn Division.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in post-frame construction who enjoys helping customers turn ideas into completed building projects. The successful candidate will guide customers through the entire sales process—from initial inquiry and building design to estimating, order coordination, scheduling, and delivery—while providing exceptional customer service every step of the way.

This is a full-time, office-based position that works closely with customers, production, and management to ensure every project is completed accurately and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist customers with the design and planning of post-frame buildings.
• Design complete building packages using Smart Build software.
• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations.
• Build long-term relationships with homeowners, farmers, contractors, and commercial customers.
• Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
• Follow up on quotations and customer requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate customer orders from initial sale through completion.
• Communicate order details and schedules with the production team.
• Schedule deliveries and communicate lead times with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information within the company ERP system.
• Work closely with production and management to ensure projects are completed accurately.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
• Represent Legacy Building Supply with honesty, professionalism, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience working with post-frame (pole barn) buildings.
• Strong understanding of post-frame construction methods and building components.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional phone and email etiquette.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Physical Requirements

This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to:

• Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Use a computer, phone, and office equipment.
• Occasionally lift product samples or materials up to approximately 25 pounds.
• Occasionally walk through warehouse or production areas.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
