Legacy Building Supply is growing, and we are looking to add a full-time CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate to our team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being behind the wheel but also likes staying active and being part of a team.

While deliveries are an important part of this role, this is not a position where you spend all day in the truck. When deliveries are complete, you will help in the warehouse and yard wherever needed.

About the Role

The CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate plays an important role in the success of our company. Our drivers are often the last person a customer sees on a project, and how a delivery goes often shapes their overall experience with Legacy.

This position requires someone who takes pride in their work, values safety, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver lumber, metal roofing, and building materials to job sites
• Safely secure and transport loads
• Perform daily truck inspections and report maintenance issues
• Load and unload materials as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized truck
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel throughout the day
• Represent Legacy professionally with customers
• Assist with loading customer and delivery orders
• Organize and stock inventory
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse and yard
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
• Assist other team members as needed
• Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A preferred, Class B considered) or willingness to obtain one
• Safe driving habits and good judgment
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Positive attitude and willingness to help others
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate

This position carries a high level of trust. You will be responsible for expensive equipment, valuable materials, and representing Legacy Building Supply every day. We are looking for someone who values safety, takes care of equipment as if it were their own, works well with customers, and is willing to help wherever needed.
