Welder
This person needs to be talented in Aluminum welding. They will be the builder of the boat, and their welds will be seen on the finished product. A hardworking professional who likes challenges and can rise to the occasion. This person will also have to have a steady hand and attention to detail. This position is instrumental to the company as a whole.
Requirements
Basic English reading and writing skills and able to communicate well with co-workers.
Be able to follow instructions and/or directions.
Physically strong, left up to 50lbs., agile and dexterous.
Able to stand, bend, reach, and crawl around inside boat hull.
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Mathematical skills, read a tape measure and calculate numbers.
Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
Follow strict safety regulations.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Welding experience in MIG and/or TIG
Aluminum Welding is preferred
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder is preferred
A Proficient knowledge of all aspects of welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs
