We are seeking a CEO to work in our organization. 

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing strategic direction and executive leadership for the organization. The CEO ensures operational effectiveness, financial accountability, and the delivery of high-quality services across all programs, operations, and administrative areas. This role leads the development and execution of strategic initiatives, systems, and policies in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements.

 

Leveraging strong leadership, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, the CEO cultivates a high-performing, person-centered, and recovery-focused culture. The position oversees program performance, financial management, risk mitigation, and workforce development, while also representing the organization in state, regional, and community efforts. In addition the CEO also serves as the primary liaison to the Board, delivering timely and accurate information supporting governance, policy making, and strategic planning. Performs other duties as assigned.

 


 The CEO will be supervised by the Board of Directors.

Requirements:

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in health care, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of executive leadership experience in health care, behavioral health, human services, or a comparable complex organization.
  • Proven leadership skills, with unwavering integrity, accountability, and the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning, organizational management, regulatory compliance, and risk management in a health services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret performance metrics, and apply insights to drive organizational outcomes.
  • Skilled in diagnosing operational and strategic challenges, anticipating risks, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Valid GA diver’s license with less than 5 points

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Prior experience leading a community service board, behavioral health organization, or similar human services agency.
  • Experience in budgeting, finance, and resource development, including grant writing and fundraising.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal funding regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in community engagement, partnership development, and advocacy.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health and human services.

Physical Demands – The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: the physical demands include but are not limited to good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting and have the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 45 pounds.
