General Summary We are currently seeking a Summer Legal Intern for the Development and Community Relations Department. The schedule will be approximately 35 – 40 hours per week, beginning in June of 2026 and ending in August (dates can be customized further to suit). The intern will be working closely with Team in various activities related to the development of Newport in Jersey City, NJ. LeFrak affiliates own and manage an extensive portfolio of real property concentrated in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, as well as South Florida, Los Angeles and throughout the West Coast. Although we focus on the residential and office sectors, LeFrak affiliates also invest in numerous hospitality and retail assets. |

Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a Law Degree; rising 3L is preferred
- Interest and / or experience in land use, regulatory, property, municipal, and/or environmental law
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel is required
- Experience with online legal research (Westlaw, Lexis, etc.) is required
- Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Salary : $18 - $20
