Key responsibilities
Provide person-centered supports to 3-4 people with Intellectual/Developmental Disability in a group home setting
Provide person-centered supports for ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility, and transfers
Monitor health status; obtain vitals; recognize and report changes promptly
Support medication administration per training and policy; document accurately in real time
Implement care plans, behavior/support strategies, and safety protocols (falls, seizures, choking, infection control)
Facilitate community outings, transportation to appointments, and meaningful daily activities
Maintain clean, safe, and home-like environments; complete light housekeeping and meal prep
Complete incident reports and required documentation to DBHDD/agency standards
Collaborate with nurses, DDPs, and supervisors; participate in coaching and team meetings
Qualifications
Active Georgia CNA in good standing (required)
Experience with adults with IDD, behavioral supports, or residential/group home care (preferred)
Valid Georgia driver’s license and insurable driving record (transport required)
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability; able to work independently and as a team
Required certifications & screenings
BLS/CPR (AHA or ARC only; no online-only courses) and First Aid
CPI (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Fingerprint-based background check, TB test (within 1 year), and health physical (within 1 year; free of communicable disease)
Social Security card, proof of auto insurance & registration, and 7-year MVR (uncertified)

Schedule & pay
Multiple shifts available (days/evenings/overnights/weekends); overtime and holiday needs as scheduled
