Le’Fevre Personal Care, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, compassionate Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP) to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) receive high-quality, person-centered services in compliance with DBHDD and Medicaid waiver standards. The DDP provides oversight, coaching, and support to staff while maintaining compliance, safety, and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of up to 40 clients;
- Conduct detailed daily review of each client’s documentation and provide immediate coaching to staff to ensure documentation compliance
- Conduct in-person visits every 30–90 days and complete DDP monitoring and ISP Trending reports.
- Attend ISP meetings with clients, families, and support coordinators.
- Train, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Oversee crisis plans, high-intensity service strategies, and compliance with DBHDD/Medicaid policies.
- Collaborate with management to improve service quality and office workflow.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (Advanced Practice Nurse, Behavior Specialist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Educator, Human Service Professional, Master’s or Doctoral Degree Holders, Physical or Occupational Therapist, Physician, Physician’s Assistant, Psychologist, Registered Nurse (Associate Degree, Diploma, Bachelor Degree), Speech Pathologist or Audiologist, or Therapeutic Recreation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), negative TB test, and background/driving clearance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and training skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must be 21 and complete 16 hours of annual training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Georgia Medicaid Waiver programs (NOW & COMP, EDWP).
- Prior experience supporting adults with IDD in home/community-based settings.
