Manufacturing Associate – Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Backyard Buddy – Warren, OH
Backyard Buddy, a trusted name in automotive lift manufacturing, is hiring a Manufacturing Associate/Brake Press Operator. This hands-on role focuses on operating brake press equipment and supporting general manufacturing tasks in a busy plant. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual who wants to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate brake press machines and other equipment safely (training provided)
- Read and follow instructions, drawings, and work orders
- Use tape measures, squares, hand tools, and power tools
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks
- Keep work areas and plant clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with brake press operation
- Welding experience and equipment certifications are a plus
