Title: Campus Operations Specialist- Shuttle Bus DriverDepartment: Campus OperationsReports to: Director of Campus OperationsCategory: Non-ExemptSummary/ObjectiveThe Campus Operations Specialist / Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students, faculty, and staff across campus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, route planning, and vehicle maintenance skills, while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollate and edit transport schedules based on passenger needs.Arrive at designated collection points prior to scheduled departure times.Ensure adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing.Avoid high-traffic and accident-prone routes when possible.Record and report all major accidents and incidents to the supervisor.Ensure passengers disembark at their correct destinations in a timely manner.Maintain the shuttle bus in a clean, fueled, and roadworthy condition.Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws.Assist with campus mail pickup and delivery.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, with a schedule that may vary throughout the year.
