Title: Assistant Women’s Volleyball CoachDepartment: AthleticsCategory: Part-time, non-exempt, stipendReports to: Head Women’s Volleyball CoachSummary/Objective The assistant women’s volleyball coach will support the head coach in recruitment, management, training and coaching of the women’s volleyball team. Essential FunctionsSupport goals and objectives of the Athletics Program.Assist the Head Coach with organization of team equipment, practices, recruitment, team travel, fundraising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.Work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel.Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete.Coordinate practice, film, or training sessions with specific positional groups, redshirt players, or scout players, as assigned. Assist with prospective student-athlete recruitment, campus visits, prospect camps, and scouting.
