What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Leeds Professional Resources?
Traveling Superintendent for Commercial Plumbing new construction projects.
Hospital or Data Center experience would be ideal but not required
Project will be in North Carolina AND South Carolina
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily field activities of plumbing technicians and crews.
- Coordinate scheduling of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance, problem-solving, and support to field teams.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and contractors to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA, state, and local safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
