We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution, financial performance, scheduling, client relations, subcontractor coordination, and field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage multiple commercial HVAC/mechanical construction projects simultaneously from award through completion.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout activities.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal field teams.
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure compliance and constructability.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower projections, and cost forecasts.
- Monitor project financials including labor productivity, material costs, change orders, billing, and profitability.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in HVAC/mechanical contracting.
- Proven experience successfully managing new commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, sheet metal, controls, and mechanical construction practices.
- Experience managing projects ranging from $5M in mechanical scope preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling software and construction management platforms.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change order management.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
