Director of Growth Marketing

We are seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to lead customer acquisition, demand generation, and media strategy. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will manage a small team and agency partners, bringing together digital advertising, website performance, and lifecycle marketing to generate qualified leads and drive revenue.

This role offers the opportunity to shape marketing strategy and investment, from reaching new audiences to improving conversion and customer retention. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on analysis to identify growth opportunities, strengthen campaign performance, and deliver measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth strategies that increase qualified leads, customer acquisition, database growth, and revenue.
• Lead omnichannel media planning, buying, and optimization across paid search, programmatic advertising, connected TV, paid social, and retargeting.
• Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and channel allocation, adjusting investment based on audience quality, conversion, and return.
• Direct agency partners and evaluate media plans, targeting, buying recommendations, and campaign performance.
• Oversee media partnerships and advertising placements with premium business, lifestyle, and travel publications.
• Lead audience segmentation, CRM strategy, email marketing, lead nurturing, and lifecycle programs that improve conversion and retention.
• Guide website performance, SEO, lead capture, and digital conversion improvements using analytics and testing.
• Partner with IT on CRM implementation, database management, integrations, automation, and reporting.
• Develop dashboards, attribution frameworks, and forecasts that connect marketing activity to acquisition costs, conversions, and revenue.
• Lead and develop two direct reports while collaborating with Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, IT, and creative teams.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in growth marketing, demand generation, customer acquisition, digital marketing, or related disciplines.
• Cruise industry marketing experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success increasing qualified demand, customer acquisition, and revenue.
• Hands-on expertise in omnichannel media planning, buying, audience targeting, and performance optimization.
• Experience managing marketing budgets and independently evaluating agency strategies, forecasts, and results.
• Experience with premium publications and media partnerships, including national business and travel outlets.
• Strong background in CRM, customer databases, segmentation, email automation, and lifecycle marketing.
• Experience managing website performance and conversion optimization, including WordPress and Google Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills, including forecasting, attribution, KPI development, and translating performance data into business decisions.
• Experience leading employees, directing external partners, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
