Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by performing a variety of tasks related to financial recordkeeping and reporting. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy in our financial processes and will involve working closely with senior accountants to maintain the integrity of our financial data.
Duties
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Process debits and credits accurately within the accounting system.
- Utilize accounting software for data entry and report generation.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist with administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with general ledger accounting practices.
- Strong skills in balance sheet reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration within the team.
