Job Summary
We are seeking an innovative, goal-driven HVAC Account Executive for our client in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will acquire new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by building strong relationships with owners, facility managers, and management companies while nurturing existing customer ties. You will drive sales for service repair work, retrofit jobs, energy solutions, and building automation systems (BAS) by engaging key decision-makers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare proposals tailored to project technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Design and propose solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
- Organize and ensure accuracy of bid documentation and cost estimates.
- Generate sales leads, qualify prospects, and conduct effective sales calls.
- Estimate, bid, propose, negotiate, and close jobs and contracts at targeted profit margins.
- Perform cold calling to attract new commercial customers.
- Engage and sell to both C-level executives and technical buyers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial HVAC experience with strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
- Proven sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
