POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: Audits daily transactions for hotels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Balance hotel daily transactions and makes adjustments as needed
- Balance credit card transactions and makes adjustments as needed.
- Process required reports for Hotel manager and Accounting Department.
- Post night audit charges and closes out the cashier/transactions for the day.
- Balance Manager’s reports.
- Register Guests and assigns room manually while in night audit function.
- Check out Guests and receives all room payments.
- Administers wake-up calls.
- Maintains all related records.
- Answers phones and provides excellent guest service.
- Responds to guests’ inquiries when needed items.
- Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
- Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
- Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
- Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
