What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nurse Supervisor position at Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe?
License/Certification Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, current insurance, or be insurable. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in MN. CPR/BLS.
Summary: Provides direction, coordination, supervision and implementation of professional and supportive services to residents/elders in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Assures that residents/elders are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence. Responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating resident/elder care to ensure the highest quality of care for the residents.
Education Requirements and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. No limitations or provisional license.
Minimum of two years' experience in nursing with a combination of assisted living, long term care, dementia care or acute care.
Prior supervisory/management experience.
Proficient in MN assisted living regulations and statutes.
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledgeable of electronic health records (EHR).
Knowledgeable of Microsoft word and Excel.
Exemplary time management and organizational skills.
Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for all Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe safety sensitive positions.
