Staff Accountant
Job Summary
Lee, Yee, & Company is a complete "wealth care" practice founded by CPAs located in Westwood, MA. Our CPA Firm is a full-service public accounting firm currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and enthusiastic professional to provide tax services for our diversified base of small business clients and to be part of a growing firm in a friendly, team oriented environment.
General Accountabilities
- Prepares federal, state, or local tax returns for individuals, business establishments, or other organizations;
- Advises client management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability;
- Ensures that the organization complies to taxing authority requirements;
- Represents organization before taxing associations;
- Provides tax advice;
- Building and maintaining client relationships;
- The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field;
- Experience: Appropriate certifications with 1-3 years of related experience;
- Strong organizational and communication skills required;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Peachtree and Ultra Tax preferred but not required.
