Job Description


Lee Reed Insurance is an independent agency in Zephyrhills, Florida that has been serving the local community since 1946. We're looking for a customer-oriented person who enjoys helping people and wants to build a career — not just work a job.

In this role, you'll be the voice of the agency for our policyholders — answering questions, helping with policy changes, guiding clients through claims, and building the kind of relationships that keep people coming back for decades. No prior insurance experience is required. We'll help you get licensed and learn the business.

We're a close-knit team with a four-day work week — Monday through Thursday, with every Friday off. If you take pride in doing right by people and want to work somewhere that actually feels like a team, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities


  • Customer Assistance: Serve as the primary point of contact for our policyholders, addressing their insurance-related inquiries and providing accurate information. 
  • Policy Updates: Assist customers with making changes to their insurance policies, such as adding or removing coverage, updating personal information, or making payments. 
  • Claims Support: Guide customers through the claims process, ensuring they understand the required documentation and assisting with any necessary follow-up. 
  • Issue Resolution:  Investigate and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner. 
  • Relationship Building: Develop rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships and loyalty to the agency. 
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, update databases, and perform other administrative duties as assigned. 

Requirements


  • Licensing Requirements:
  • You will be required to get a Florida 4-40 license (Customer Service Representative) within the first 60 days of employment. 
  • License paid in full by employer. 
  • Must be able to study for exam on your own time.
  • Excellent Communication Skills:  Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, partner insurance carriers and colleagues. 
  • Customer Focus:  A genuine desire to assist and provide excellent service to our valued clients. 
  • Attention to Detail:  Ability to accurately process policy changes and maintain organized documentation. 
  • Organizational Skills:  Effective time management and multitasking abilities to handle a high volume of customer inquiries.
  • Team Player:  Collaborate effectively with colleagues and actively contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Experience:  Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry, is a plus but not a requirement.

Salary : $32,000 - $45,000
