Responsibilities


  • Customer Assistance: Serve as the primary point of contact for our policyholders, addressing their insurance-related inquiries and providing accurate information. 
  • Policy Updates: Assist customers with making changes to their insurance policies, such as adding or removing coverage, updating personal information, or making payments. 
  • Claims Support: Guide customers through the claims process, ensuring they understand the required documentation and assisting with any necessary follow-up. 
  • Issue Resolution:  Investigate and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner. 
  • Relationship Building: Develop rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships and loyalty to the agency. 
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, update databases, and perform other administrative duties as assigned. 

Requirements


  • Licensing Requirements:
  • You will be required to get a Florida 4-40 license (Customer Service Representative) within the first 60 days of employment. 
  • License paid in full by employer. 
  • Must be able to study for exam on your own time.
  • Excellent Communication Skills:  Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, partner insurance carriers and colleagues. 
  • Customer Focus:  A genuine desire to assist and provide excellent service to our valued clients. 
  • Attention to Detail:  Ability to accurately process policy changes and maintain organized documentation. 
  • Organizational Skills:  Effective time management and multitasking abilities to handle a high volume of customer inquiries.
  • Team Player:  Collaborate effectively with colleagues and actively contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Experience:  Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry, is a plus but not a requirement.

Salary : $32,000 - $45,000
