POSITION SUMMARY
The Shuttle Driver & Facilities Support Associate is responsible for providing safe and reliable employee transportation between company locations while supporting the daily operations of the Administration department. This position assists with site logistics, parking operations, internal deliveries, light facility maintenance, and general administrative support to ensure company facilities remain safe, organized, and efficient. The role serves as a key operational resource by supporting employees, visitors, and multiple company locations through responsive transportation and site services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Transportation Operations
- Safely operate company shuttle vehicles according to established schedules between company facilities, adjusting as operationally needed.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily vehicle inspections, coordinate vehicle maintenance, and repairs.
Administrative Operations Support
- Conduct routine parking lot inspections, monitoring parking permit compliance during peak hours.
- Assist employees and visitors with parking guidance.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of common areas to identify and report facilities issues.
- Interoffice mail, packages, office supplies, and equipment between company locations.
- Support occasional off-site administrative and facilities-related activities, including purchasing supplies, delivering materials, and assisting with company projects as assigned.
- Assist with workstation and office setup, including installing whiteboards, bulletin boards, signage, and office accessories.
- Perform light maintenance including replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, furniture repairs, and other minor building repairs.
- Support Administrative and operation projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of driving experience required
- 1-2 years of facilities, maintenance, or building support experience preferred.
- Valid California Driver License and clean driving record required.
- Dependable, punctual, and team oriented.
- Strong safety mindset.
- Ability to follow standard procedures and simple instructions
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence.
- Ability to communicate with other employees of the organization.
