About the Role
Our client is looking to fill a high-energy, outbound sales role at the front line of their growth strategy. The role is based in the Salt Lake City area. In this Outside Sales / Customer Engagement Specialist role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers—sparking conversations, uncovering interest, and creating real opportunities for our sales team. The position has a base salary ($70-80k) plus incentives making earning potential $100-120k.
Important: This is not a closing role. Your success is measured by the quality of opportunities you create—not contracts signed.
What You’ll Do
Drive New Conversations
- Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients (physicians, med spas, and aesthetic practices) to introduce medical equipment
- Reconnect with existing customers to explore new opportunities, upgrades, or expansions
- Introduce our solutions at a high level and gauge interest and timing
- Confidently navigate gatekeepers and engage decision-makers
Qualify & Pass the Baton
- Identify strong opportunities based on need, budget, timing, and decision-making access
- Capture detailed, accurate notes in CRM (Salesforce or similar)
- Hand off qualified leads to senior sales reps for demos and closing
- Ensure every opportunity is set up for success before passing it along
Own Your Activity & Pipeline
- Maintain consistent outbound activity and follow-up cadence
- Stay organized and keep track of all interactions and next steps
- Partner with leadership to improve messaging, targeting, and qualification strategies
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of experience in sales with at least one year in outside sales
- Stable work history; no more than 3 jobs in the last 5 years
- Strong communication skills—you know how to build rapport quickly
- Comfortable making outbound calls daily (this is a phone-heavy role)
- Highly motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented
- Organized and able to manage multiple conversations at once
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
- Interest in the aesthetics, medical, or technology space is a bonus
