The Great Falls Tribune is looking for a player/coach who can lead a growing newspaper with a storied history and a bright future.
The Tribune recently joined a network of six Lee Enterprises newspapers located in Montana’s largest markets, lending it the reporting capacity of those five other newsrooms as well as a state bureau that covers politics in Big Sky Country.
In Great Falls, we are seeking someone who can report on the local business community while also serving as a local editor. If you want to lead, love to connect with and report on communities and want to help build a winning local news structure, this job is for you.
The position will entail supervising reporters, organizing coverage, editing copy, collaborating with the other editors in Lee Montana and ensuring that we keep readers in the Electric City informed and engaged.
As the leader of this newsroom, you will be in a public-facing position that involves engaging with the community. You will also do your own reporting on business in Montana’s third-most populous city.
