Technician working on a team delivering the successful completion of a Test and Balance project.
Education And Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 5 years’ experience preferred
- TAB Math – Advanced knowledge of math formulas as it relates to TAB
- VFD – Ability to configure and troubleshoot VFD’s
- Blueprints – Basic understanding of blueprints
- Hydronic Systems – Ability to perform TAB and troubleshoot systems
- Air Systems – Understanding of variable and constant volume air side applications
- Software – Understanding of Siemens, Trane, Honeywell and TAB reporting software
- Manpower – Ability to task and plan manpower and projects
- Healthcare – Working knowledge of healthcare requirements to include clean rooms, negative pressure areas and other requirements
- Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
- Technical Skills – Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others
- Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service
