Summary Of Job
Collect information, record data and estimate the cost for all Large Construction sheet metal projects on which the company places bids. Process includes completing plan analysis, developing materials list, bid take off, bidding and interface with sales department.

Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience with sheet metal/mechanical estimation
- In-depth knowledge of construction as well as sheet metal/mechanical systems - Field experience is preferred
- A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and software
- Auto bid Sheet Metal (formerly QuickPen) experience a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good problem solving ability and analytical skills
- Adept in mathematics
- Ability to manage the high stress of tight deadlines and the responsibility of accurately forecasting the budget for a project
- Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
